In the decades since we completed our first project - a series of bridges constructed with the help of mule-drawn graders in 1924 - Zachry has pioneered techniques that have become the basis of modern heavy construction. We even hold the record for the largest concrete slip form for a runway built at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport in 1973. The Zachry Corporation was formed in 2008 in a realignment of the enterprise's construction activities.
